Mon Feb 06, 2012 10:47 pm

Hello,

Have you ever though about Mikrotik for x64 platform ?

We have many problems with performance on x86 systems in shaping.

I think, that it would be big step for future.

Thank you for answer

x64 will not solve the problems you have now with QoS system. My suggestion would be to read up about PCC, how queue simple and queue tree works, and what are the recommended configuration.

So, head down to tiktube.com and check videos from MUM about QoS

Hello, thank you for your answer.

We actualy use software ispadmin from Czech company NET Servis. We need use central shaping with ispadmin and mikrotik cooperation. Do you know system how we can use for it ?

Actualy we have about 4000 users and 800 Mbit trafic for shaping.

Please concrete advice. I think for example, use 3 BOX RB1100x2 with LACP, etc ...

Thank you for your answer
