SIP problem

Fri Jan 20, 2012 8:01 pm

Hi all,

I´ve noticed a problem with my sip devices.
All of them work for a couple of days and then they just stop working.

After a reboot, or swapping from router mode to bridging.
all starts working again. :(

I´m getting a bit crazy of this I tried to open all ports but no better results yet.

I upload screenshots of all the routers on my network.
I have 1 public IP for the all the network and 4 people are using thise sip devices

The problem is probably that I don´t know how to open these ports properly on the mikrotik...
I hope someone here can explain me how to open them properly using winbox.
Isn´t there a simple way like on for example a Cisco router to open these ports?

And I´ve found this topic:
http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=26777

Here they tell this person that ¨most¨ ports are opened by default.
So what is my problem then?

Ports that need to be opened are:
5075-5076 TCP/UPD
16384-16482

Many thanks.

How is this network laid out ? All of these devices have different ips.

Try just the MikroTik with your sip reg ports specified in the services section (in your case 5075,5076.

Hi, have you tried to disable the "SIP helpers" on the Mikrotik and Ubnt device? That often solve those kind of problems...

Ubnt:
Enable NAT Protocol

Mikrotik
Service ports:disable SIP
