How to direct specific traffic through VPN please help

Sat Mar 10, 2012 5:29 pm

Hi all,
Can anybody solve this problem for me.

I have Rb router with one WAN interface for internet.

I have added 1 pptp client interface which is a VPN I pay for.

I have an address list of destination ips i want to to be reachable from the lan side via the VPN and leave everthing else as normal through the wan interface to my ISP

Any suggestions?

The purpose of this excercise is the destination ips in the list are geo specific. My ip is listed as US located (which is not correct but that is another story) and i need to use a UK VPN to access the sites.

Any help much appreciated

simply place a specific route for each address and Set the gateway to be the PPPTP Interface

if they are all in the same lan eg 10.1.1.0/24 you can just add a route for that network with the gateway being the PPPTP Interface,

Remember both Routers (each of the VPN ) must be configured with Routes, (for traffic going out and Returning)

I hope this helps,
