Queueing?

Mon Mar 12, 2012 6:18 pm

Alright what I want to do if possible is to queue certain hardware within a relay. Here is what I have

MTRB(DHCP Sever)------UBNT(AP WDS) ~~~~~~UBNT(Station WDS)-----MTRB(DHCP Relay)

The MTRB(DHCP Sever) has 2 severs set in it.
DHCP1=10.1.1.x
DHCPRelaySever=10.1.2.x
The UBNT's have a 10.10.1.x address

MTRB(DHCP Relay) can connect to the net and do everything just fine. Now I wanted to run the Queues in the MTRB(DHCP Sever).
ex) Client connects to MTRB(DHCP Relay) and gets a 10.1.2.99 is it possible for me to run the queues from the MTRB(DHCP Sever)?

Bridge, eoip, vpls, l2tp etc. would all make this possible.

Try to just make a l2 network from your main dhcp server and to clients. it seems like your ubnt already is in a layer 2 net, and you should manage this by putting MTRB's interface in a bridge

I thought seeming how the DHCP Sever for the relay is in the first router I would be able to queue it... but i guess not.
How would i accomplish what your telling me and still have it be a DHCP relay?
