411AR "main" antenna connection missing

Mon Mar 19, 2012 11:35 am

Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me why the antenna connection labelled "main" is missing from the RB411AR?

Looking online I've noticed some images of 411AR's do have 2 connectors but they are U.FL connectors but the boards with only one connector use MMCX.

Are the solder points for "main" live so could be used of a connector was soldered on?

Any ideas?

Actually AUX means MAIN and MAIN means AUX, just some confusion of PCB printing. We will fix this in new revisions.

So is the connection actually live?

i.e. if we were to solder a mmcx connector on there, could we have 2 antennas?

In MMCX version, the connector marked as main is the aux and in UFL version the marked as main is main? or is aux? : /

thanks,
