I am using 2.9.14, with a tyna motherboard. The board has an onboard serial port (Serial0) and headers for a second serial port (serial1). Console redirection is set for Serial0 and the ports ment shows serial1 as being free. However, everytime i add a ups to serial1 it shows up as I and is red. and i cant figure it out. It is an apc smart ups and i'm using the supplied apc serial cable so it should work. i'd appreciate any recommendations or suggestions.
