Hahaha! Here's something fresh and cool:
I need to run a second virtual ethernet interface with its own MAC address and IP address on the already existing one. How can I do this?
I tried to bridge the real ethernet interface with two EoIP tunnels that would hopefully connect to one another in the same MT. Actually only one EoIP is in the brigde, the other one is not! This way the MAC address and IP address I set to the second [not briged] EoIP tunnel would hopefully appear on the wire as a ghost machine . The problem with this was ... bridge not working properly and/or packets not passing throu the internal EoIP tunnel properly...
Maybe there's a hidden setting for this or a better workaround this issue... ?
Thanks for the help. Althou a funny matter I have a serious purpus for this
