Externally connectorized SEXTANT production?

Wed May 16, 2012 8:56 am

I see that Sextant have already a predisposition for external N-type connectors.
It's important for connect a dual-chain dish antennas in a long distance client situation.

But for do this we have to manually drill the plastic case.

There are any plans to release a pre-connettorizzed version of this device?

Why do you use a sextant when its antenna is not enough?
It is better to use a dish antenna with dual-chain rb711 in box

You're right!
I ask, then, a version without his reflector-antenna, but with external pigtail and with everything already mounted.

This version is important because have the external LEDs for the "rough alignment" asked by all of our installers
(other NON OFFICAL boxed products haven't)

If you don't need the antenna, just a box for the RB711, you can use one of the outdoor solutions here:

Yes, that is one possibility, if you open the SEXTANT, you will see that it's possible to mount other devices. Currently RB711 is inside, but you can replace it with something else, with multiple slots even.
