RB750 DHCP problems?

Thu Jul 12, 2012 11:53 am

I set up my wireless networking following attached image networking. In RB750 I set up hotspot with DHCP 10.0.1.1 and created regular users for each. Everyone must connect to RB750 via AP and get DHCP with status AH in hosts. But yesterday there were some computers after connecting to AP, they were not able to connect to RB750 hotspot login page, some were connected normally. I saw in hotspot>host (untitled.jpg), their status became D or AD and there's IPs is 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x. Where is this error?

Did your hotspot pool run out of IP addresses?

I don't know why computer's received IP became 192.168.0.x. Because I hotspot and set dhcp 10.0.1.x.
Please see my Ip-pool, ip-routes, ip-interface in attached.
When I try connecting computer via cable, Received IP is still 192.168.0.x but computer can connect to internet, but via Wireless then can not.

Two things to check:

/ip pool
/ip dhcp-server

check the dhcp server is assigning from the correct pool. Ive seen it assign from the default pool despite setting up hotspot pool

/ip hotspot

check hotspot profile, disable address-pool option.

I tried to disable address-pool so these computers were not able to connect to RB750's hotspot login page.
