Random lockups on 5.20 and Broadcom clients.

Tue Sep 04, 2012 9:14 am

Hi guys.

I have problems with office users connecting to 751G-2HnD acting as access point.
Some of them get randomly disconnected and have to reconnect manually to use it again.
So far it was reported from users using Macs and Dells (although it is stable on my Macbook Pro)
I think both have Broadcom based cards.
There are no spikes in resources usage (CPU, Memory) either.
The version of RouterOS is 5.20.

P.S
We have 3 751G-2HnD access points, with the same SSID and different frequencies in the office.

Hello all,
I have wireless problem too - HW is RB751U-2HnD, ROS version 5.20.
Broadcom based wireless card in my Dell E6420 - the connection is unusable, ping to RB751 is between 1-3s, no interference. Maybe it can be a ROS bug, or settings, will try to solve it today. Any other wireless devices are OK (HTC phones, Lenovo netbook).

I think that both problems (YazzY's and mine) can be linked together - any suggestions?

Thank you & best regards,
malda
