Hi all

I have a RB1100AH connected to our upstream ISP via gigE copper cat5 on Eth12 and our core switch (extreme 5i) on Eth1

This has worked for close to 6 months but for some reason we are getting dropouts every 48-72 hours now. The error count on eth12 will be 0 for ages then all of a sudden it will get around 18k erros on the RX readout or around 4k RX drops. This happens for a while then the system will refuse to communicate with the upstream ISP. The only way to solve it is to pull the cable out the router for a few seconds then all returns to normal. Nothing in the log indicates a problem, the port stays up but will not pass any traffic?

We have changed the cable and crimps and it still does this, We also swapped out the port its physically plugged into at our end. Is there anything i am missing on the RB itself in terms of settings? The cable itself is quite long (50-60m) but it should still be in the spec for gig usage
