some strange problem

Hi!
I have wery strange problem. I have a routherboard which have three wireless card. One Prism and two atheros, one of atheros working in 5GHz, and one in 2,4GHz in bridge with Prism 2,5. What I’m find is when I disable the atheros 5413 (form bridge), prism stop working – klients still connected by wireless but ping and any other transfers stop. When I do the same with prism - disable, atheros work normaly. MT ver. 2.9.18.

Hi Yogi.

Check your arp-setting on the interface. It is probably set to 'reply-only'.
Set arp to 'enabled' when you disable the bridge and it will work again.

Hi!
I check it and in all interfaces and bridges i have set arp to 'enable'. So this is not solution for me ;(
Any other ideas!?

I posted about this a week or 2 back...I need to reproduce it and send in a supout file from a test network still

Anyway, when bridging one or more wlan interfaces and using WDS (still need to find out if WDS is what triggers this) and then you disable one of the wlan interfaces in the bridge, you'll lose all conectivity from it forever until you reboot or login via serial and reboot. Try mac-telneting to it...you might get in via one of the other interface's mac addresses.

I have 2 wlan in one bridge in address class 172.16.1.0/24 (for cliends) and second bridge ether with wlan (and this wlan have wds) in 192.168.1.0/24 (for serwers). I have this problem with clients connection so i never lost connect with this device. I'll make supout and send to developers team.
