Hello to everyone...
Does anybody knows if there is a cache software like squid to transparently cache p2p data from ares, kazaa, etc?

Thank You

There are solutions, but its very costly, one wchich i know cost about $50k for 50Mbit traffic and 1GB storage capacity.
Just use google.

1GB? sound like a typo. One typical movie is about 1Gb. And p2p networks consist of thousands of them.

one solution would be to provide the customers with your own p2p sharing servers (hubs, trackers, etc) - then they would only use local traffic :)

http://www.grazierenterprises.com/products/p2pcache.htm

I think there are others that make p2p caches as well. Will likely end if p2p countinues encrypting there traffic.
