Dear Members,

Can anyone help me out to making partition in Mikrotik Router OS in x 86 machines?
What, if I have 500 GB SATA Hard disk and I want to make only 50 GB Partition for Router OS and rest of the partition for data or cache etc...

When I press (Y) to continue it erase all the Hard disk and make only one partition. What would be the procedure to make partition while installation or after installation.

it is not possible to use partitions with RouterOS installation.

But if i have 300GB HDD and i install mikrotik on it then i cant use my HDD i.e proxy caching or any other use. Is there any other option to utilize that HDD free space without effecting mikrotik preformance
