user limitation

Thu Apr 05, 2012 4:54 pm

Dear all,
I have problem with credit limit for users.
I would like to have limitation per user for fix time, for example 1 day, 7 days of 10 days.
So, when user make first login, his credit must expire after 1 day, 7 days or 10 day. (no matter how much time user was on the Internet). That mean that user will not have logout.
Thanks and best regards.

create three profiles, 1day, 7days and 10days and set the validity to 1d, 7d and 10d respectively. Apply the required profile when you create users.

Dear sir,
thanks for answer but you didn't understand me.
I know that I can create profile with time limitation. But in new usermanager (that come with OS version 5), when user stop using internt (for example turn off his laptop or disconnect from wifi) usermanager recognize it like the user has been disconnected = LogOff.
So when I create profile for 30 days, customers can user internet for years because usermanager recognize active 30 days (period that user was on internet) insted 30 days from the first login (regardless of user has used internet 10 hours in 30 days period of time).

So, is any option to configure voucher which can be use from the first login some period of time (which I define in profile), for examle 10 days 10 days that user can use internet from the first login, not 10 days of surfing (which can be 30-60 days until user has been active on internet 10 days=240 hours)

Thanks for help and best regards

Dear all, I have solved my problem. Only what I have to do is to put Validity time in Profiles. For example: If I want to have voucher with uptime 1 hour, wich can be used in 1 day, I have to put 1 day as validity in profile. So, for my customers who use 30 days voucher, validity should bi 30 days.
Best regards all
