Omnitek with SXT

Sun Feb 17, 2013 7:11 am

Hello

I have one Omnitek with multiple SXT , on each SXT i am getting good result like approx 6Mbps but the result is not stable, the variation in traffic i can see some times the download speed reduced and some time comes stable also the latency on PING is fluctuating, so can any one advice the best configuration of the omnitek and SXT

Also my ominitek configuration is AP-Bridge
SXT Configuration is Station WDS

Go to Wireless on the Omnitik and click on registration and send us a screen shot. Your Tx/Rx signal should be in the -50s for best results.

only one client has a good signal, better than others but not very good. Your clients are to far away and you need a higher gain antenna base. Omnitk is good for 500m in my opinion.

What wireless protocol are you using?
Are you using encryption?
Please upgrade to the latest RouterOS v5.23 and do a wireless reset-configuration and configure only the settings you need. Then send us the export compact printout from your configuration:
/interface wireless export compact
