channel width emergency problem

Tue Feb 19, 2013 1:15 pm

Hello dear all,
i have a big problem, i purchased a routerboard 433ah with two r52hn cards, and i set them to operate in 2.4 ghz band. My customers use Senao Bridges, and the problem is this:

I wanted to use 5 mhz or 10 mhz channel width on mikrotik, but when i choose one of them no wlan is running, and no senao bridge is connected to me. So if anyone can help me on this how to make this possible and operate on 5 mhz or 10 mhz channel width id would be a good idea.

I'm new on this forum and i dont know if im in the right place sot im waiting for your response.

Best Regards.

From my understanding 5 MHz and 10 MHz channels will not work for "visible" access points - you are correct in that they "disappear." I think you can manually set the settings on your clients and it will work - but I an not familiar with your bridges.

A standard access point works on 20 mhz bandwith
Use This bandwith, and your problem will solved
