I know this should probably go on the Routerboard forum, but instead I thought more people here would know what was going wrong. I have an RB532 with RB564 on it. It has no wireless cards -- strictly Ethernet. Currently I have 4 devices plugged into it. It seems that all of the Ethernet ports except for port 1, the Korina one, are having packet loss. The board is running 2.9.20, and is one of the originals that had the CPU frequency set at 266MHz. The current firmware on it is 1.3, and I don't know if that makes any difference on the way the secondary Ethernet ports, all VIA, respond. At the same time, I am wondering if by powering it with 18 volts instead of 48 volts I might not be giving it enough juice to operate with all those Ethernet ports. The 18v port supply I am running is a 1A, same power supply shipped with the Tranzeo TR-CPE/TR-CPQ radios.
I hope somebody can indicate to me what is going wrong here. This is very frustrating, and it has been an issue that I have tried to overlook for a long time, but as you can imagine, it gets old really quick.
Also, I look forward to seeing many of you at MUM!
