Hi!

I want to use a RouterBOARD 500, specifically the 534A, to make a small VLAN switch.

I understand to tag ethernet frames, you bridge between an untagged port and a tagged port, but then how do I bridge the tagged frames into another bridge? I think this is what I would need to do.

This is so I can have a bridged node in a network with the "through" port not caring about vlans (just passes them) and the "customer" port tagging frames into a specific vlan.

Here's the setup for each customer site RB534:

Ether1 = tag inbound frames with vlan401 and remove vlan401 tag for outbound frames
Ether2 + Ether3 = bridge
