Hi, I have a Mikrotik RB 433 UAH with a wireless interface R52n ( Atheros Communications Inc. AR922X Wireless Network Adapter).

Well... I don't know if it is a stupid question or not. But this interface has 2 outputs. When I configure the router to a X transmission power, will it distribute the power by the 2 outputs, i. e., X/2? If yes, what will happen if I have only 1 antenna connected to the interface? The power will still be divided?

I read the datasheet but I can't get any information of this problem...

Two connectors means 2x radio amplifiers, so if you use the second chain the power will be double. 23dbm dual chain means 20dbm single. The power is not splited, it's just not used entirely.

So, just to confirm my mental confusion, if I set a transmission power of 0 dBm, the output will be 0 dBm if single and 3 dBm if double, right?

0 is 0. It can't be 3.
