RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN and ZTE MF192

Sun Jul 07, 2013 12:16 pm

Hi,

I have connected a 3G USB modem ZTE MF192 to my RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN.

I see it in system -> resources:
[admin@MikroTik] /system resource usb> print
# DEVICE VENDOR NAME SPEED
0 1:1 RB400 EHCI 480 Mbps
1 1:2 ZTE MF192 480 Mbps

But I don't see it in system console port list:
[admin@MikroTik] /system> console print
Flags: X - disabled, U - used, F - free
# PORT TERM
0 F serial0 vt102

So I can't use it...

Can somebody help me?

i have similar problem, attached ZTEMF626 to rb2011

It runs properly when I make some changes in modem.
This is because my MF626 have build in microSD card reader, so it have ability to work as pendrive.

I use some AT commands to change some features in it.
I can't tell what i have don exactly (it was some time ago), but try to disable build in memory IF THERE IS ANY

good luck

Twido, thank you for your reply.
After making some changes in configuration of MT (may be turning on UPnP) I've seen it as an USB port:
[admin@MikroTik] > port pr
Flags: I - inactive
# NAME CHANNELS USED-BY BAUD-RATE
0 serial0 1 auto
1 usb2 9 9600
And I can connect to it by terminal and tried to disable falsh drive using ZTE AT commands - http://3g-modem.wetpaint.com/page/ZTE+AT-commands
But got an error...
