I have four WAN interfaces (via PPPoE, via ADSL). They're all quite slow (2mbps). I'd like to bond them all together so I can get more speed . I'm mostly interested in increasing the speed of individual TCP connections... so ECMP/PCC/Nth aren't really suitable (from what I've read only balance-rr will work).

I have a server in the UK that's running an ROS instance in a VM. It currently has two static IPs that are internet-addressable.

This is what I tried in the past (2 connection example) :

Home (ZA) -> Server(UK) I used firewall rules to change the routing for the different links (based on port numbers).

So, the above worked, but it didn't go very fast.

Bonding can't use SSTP links but it can use EoIP and OpenVPN links... so I'm thinking of trying to get OpenVPN going in this configuration.

Does anyone have a better idea ? I'm quite n00b when it comes to this sort of thing.

I've some working bonding installations, and I'de like to know if you succeeded with yours.

Actually I'm trying some bonding for several P2P links (from different vendors) in order to aggregate capacity in one single network interface for internet supply purposes.

It seems to work fine but I'd like to get some additional advise on this topic.

I too am interested in this, currently I am also running 4x4mb adsl lines from seperate ISPs but opted for load balancing since I couldn't figure out how to do bonding properly. Any tips how you guys got it implemented would be welcome.

I would like to accomplish the same thing - using 2 or more slow ADSL lines to create a bond towards another device, which will act as gateway. Kind of like described in the original post or here: http://simonmott.co.uk/vpn-bonding

The remote location can be a Linux server or a RouterOS device.

Has anyone ever gotten this to work with good speed?
