instalation help need !

When boot MT cd(2.9.17 burned from .iso) I got kernel and comand promth. What to do next ?? In earlier version 2.8.26 It bring me setup where I just select MT components and installation is finished.
I think this is simple for anyone :)

Please.. read : http://www.mikrotik.com/docs/ros/2.9/guide/basic i think you should use the "SETUP" command

Install it (MT) from floppy, it's very easly then some iso's ang cd's...

Open a flopy maker and write a floppy discs ....

then make this very simples command forward ..


P.S. really with floppy i have't problems .

It´s a lot easy with the bootable .iso.... but you have to know how to burn a CD :lol:

off course I know how to burn image, it is bootabile cd but I only get command line instead setup on booting. When I start ./setup from /sbin it do something and reboot PC, next time it do a same thing. ..
I have return my 2.8.26 version :), but now I have other problems:) (pptp)

what? setup should start automatically and start the setup application.

check your pc, can it boot from other CD? did you write the image correctly? try the CD in different PC (not other, - different)

But 2.8.26 working fine, I don't see reason why 2.9.x would not work.
I will try on different PCs, but even it's works I don't have machine :)

if you use CDRW, erase it first. looks like there is something else on the disk too. also don't use multisessions
