Is there any way to do static routing with an interface that receives its IP through DHCP?

I'm reading about this: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Routing_v ... ed_gateway, but it seems a bit archaic to have to rely on scripts to do dynamic routing.

Will having to not rely on this work-around ever make its way into RouterOS?

I doubt it. Just call your ISP if your using a residential provider and pay the $10 extra for the static IP which will allow what you need.

My ISP doesn't offer static IPs.
