PPPoE server with any username and password

Sun Aug 18, 2013 7:03 pm

Hi All! How to setup the PPPoE server in my RouterBoard so anyone can connect to it with any (or even blank) username and password?

The only way that I can think of is to make the PPPoE service use Radius for it's authentication and then setup the Radius server so that it always returns an accept response no matter what is sent to it.

It would be very nice to have this in case your radius servers goes down...
