2 WANs VLAN 10'd on RB750UP

Mon Sep 02, 2013 11:37 am

Hi All,

I have a RB750UP box, and have just gone from a single DSL connection to 2 shiny new 100/50 Fibre connections.
I currently have 2 supplied routers from the ONT and fed in to the Mikrotik, only one connection is being used ( just connected a couple of hours ago ).

My ISP says I can ditch their routers if I tag the incoming connections with a VLAN 10. GREAT, if I knew how to set that up.

Can some one please explain how I set up the following ( ideally in winbox, but I guess it would be a good time to learn the CLI too ):

port 1: WAN 100/50 connection 1 ->default connection, for all desktops and Wifi AP's.
port 2: WAN 100/50 connection 2 ->servers and voip lines
port 3: LAN -> switch -> local network: 192.160.10.XXX
port 5: PoE IP Camera ( local only )

Mikrotik -> 192.168.10.1
Servers -> 192.168.10.10-192.168.10.20 ( connection 2 )
IP Phones -> 192.168.10.30-192.168.10.45
Static Desktops -> 192.168.10.50-192.168.10.70 ( connection 1 )
DHCP -> 192.168.10.100-192.168.10.200 ( connection 1 )
VPN DHCP -> 192.168.10.201-192.168.10.240 ( connection 1 - I think )

You should create a vlan interface on the ISP connected interface with the correct vlan-id.
I don't know how your ISP is delivering you an IP address, but that address must be on the vlan interface. I'd you bridge all toy internal interfaces and configure your desired internal IP address.
