Hi All
I just bought a CCR1036-12G-4S and floated it up with S-31DLC20D, and still have some left over.
I need this for our DMZ, and the rest of the network run cisco.
My problem is I do not get link on fiber connection? Can the fiber not run with cisco? I have also tried to set an S-31DLC20D in cisco with but does not work?
My sw is cisco 2960

What am I doing wrong?

Cisco is known for having problems with non-Cisco SFPs as the router reads out the manufacturer written in the SFP's EPROM. Sometimes it works but you won't get any support by Cisco anymore and sometimes it doesn't even work.

Have you tried switching fibers on one end?

Have you tried the SFPs between two Ciscos?

hmm no I have not tried S-31DLC20D cisco to cisco, but I try this Monday.
Does anyone know about CCR1036-12G-4S can run on Cisco mmx spf?

Sorry to bring this up again, but I'm a little lost?
cisco to cisco with S-31DLC20D does not work, but CCR with Cisco mmx spf works without problems, so it runs.
The big question now is why does ccr or other mikrotik with SFP S-31DLC20D not Work with Cisco mmx SFP or other Cisco with 1 Gb fiber, it looks like there's link on mikrotik, but nothing on the cisco? I'm lost: (

Please email support. This sounds similar to an issue I am having with CCR and SFP to LightPointe units.

The more info we give them the quicker they can fix it.
