IPSec: Manually specify an IP for local ID

Hi
I need to manually specify an IP address for the local ID of an IPSec VPN.
The only available field for specifying a local ID manually is the FQDN.
Is there a way to do this?

You can use a script to resolve the name periodicaly and set the IP in the IPSEC upon change.

If what you need is to use IPSec with a dynamic IP (unclear from your post), look at this script on the wiki:
