VPN issues with os x

Tue Nov 12, 2013 8:24 pm

I have a pptp vpn setup and it works fine for windows 7 and 8 users. connection to vpn, pinging the network and connecting to network shares \\192.168.1.100\share. the vpn will connect for the os x users but they can not access any resources over the vpn, no ping, no afp or smb. doesn't see anything. on the mac i've checked send all network traffice over vpn, i've set the vpn as highest service order, have set the tcp/ip on the connection manually and by the default ppp.

the pptp server on the tik is setup for all auth pap, chap, mschap1, mschap2. the profile is setup with local address from dhcp-pool 192.168.1.0/24 the same pool as the office. the remote address is setup as vpn-pool 10.0.0.0/24. this all works fine for windows clients but os x is the issue.

any suggestions?
thanks.

Hi,
Did you get any error when you're trying to connect to PPTP VPN at OSX ?
Are you try using "Configure IPv4 : Using PPP" ?
Thanks .
