hello everyone.
I managed to add simple queue for my local lan using Mangle and addresslist
now when i connect to my router using winbox the consumed bandwidth on my simple queue shows 16.kbps rx 354 kbps rx isn't this unusual..
i am only connected to router no bandwidth consuming internet connection is done.
i suspect i did something wrong in my queue management.
or is it okay. I mean does winbox consumes so much of b/w.

You can use torch to see how much bandwidth winbox is using.
Tools --> Torch.

Checking mine now I am seeing 46kbps Tx 5kbps Rx.

If you find that winbox uses to much bandwidth you have the option to use the CLI through Telnet/SSH.

I used torch and it showed Rx12.8 kbps and Tx382.3 Kbps
I have about 158 items in queue. I guess this factor is causing to consume so much of b/w.
Nope i am not that much comfortable using CLI

382 Kbps is too big, I don't think it has anything to do with queue. Probably back end process is running,( window updates, virus updates..)

my winbox bandwidth,
rx-bits-per-second: 6.9kbps
tx-bits-per-second: 39.3kbps.

as Letni says : used torch to see actual winbox traffic

I did torch to find out bandwidth consumed by winbox
and i found 272.1 Kbps Tx consumed src address 255.255.255.255 Dst address 0.0.0.0 Dst port 20561
What's going on ?? i can't figure it out.
attached is the picture of snapshot the 4th line i didn't understood.

Same problem with me, but the Tx rate is 105 kbps and the Rx rate is 7 kbps

Same issue as per attached file
