I have Two sites in deferent Countries , Site A have FTTH connection to the internet using PPPOE connection with RB-951G-2HnD and Using DynDNS service for dynamic DNS service.
RB in site A acting like VPN server.
Site B have ADSL Connection so I use non MikroTik router (D-Link ADSL Router) for the internet connection, behind the D-link router I use another RB-951G-2HnD router for VPN connection with site A , the Site (B) RB use URL ( no fixed IP ) to connect to site (A)
The problem when internet disconnect in Site (B) for any reason and the connection come back, RB can’t connect again for site (A) and even users cant browse the internet , after much search I find its DNS problem , if I just remove and add the DNS server list again everything go fine, also if I restart the router it will work also.
As I understand its DNS bug in mikroTik , when internet disconnect RB will not know that because it have no direct connection to the internet , so when he inquiry the DNS server and no replay he will mark the first server in the list as (dead) then the second and third etc… then he will mark all the list as dead and stop inquiry the DNS again tell somebody edit the list or restart the router !!!!!
Normal routers will keep inquiry the DNS servers list after period of time and repeat it forever , even the PC do that so no problem , why only MikroTik have this bug ??!!!
Anybody have solution ?
