hotspot field in firewall filter rules

Wed Dec 18, 2013 1:15 pm

Dear All,

can somebody explain what is the hotspot field for firewall filter rules?
what is auth | from-client | http | local-dst | to-client ?
I mean where are these values set? by the hotspot module? or are these markers?
Where are this decisions made if auth=true or if from-client, ...? Before a packet enters a firewall chain?
Is there a kind of flow-chart diagram how packets are handled by different mikrotik modules and how they interact with each other?

Would be great if somebody could explain a bit more about that.

Many thanks in advance!

These are rules created by the hotspot module. They auto-populate when you create a new hotspot.
