Routerboard Recommendation ?

Sat Dec 28, 2013 5:21 pm

We have a resort in Aruba with approx 159 rooms with an AP in each room. We average approx. 300 users at peak with a network link speed of 30Mbit down/10Mbit up. We limit download speed to 1Mbit for all users.

Which Routerboard product would you recommend for operating Hotspot and Usermanager in this environment ?

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Thanks for the help. I have purchased a RB1100AHX2 and it arrived today. It came loaded with 5.26 and I would like to upgrade to 6.7. I tried the auto upgrade and it didn't work.

Can I just copy the packages to the root directory and reboot ?

Thanks again for all the help !

Auto upgrade won't do major revisions. Just grab the appropriate package from the website and upload then reboot.
