Quickset problem - RB951-2HnD

Fri Jan 03, 2014 3:08 pm

Greets all

Trying to create a wireless ptp bridge (indoor, short distance) with two of the above routers. Have upgraded to 6.7.

As soon as I use webfig or winbox quickset function, the router is disconnected and I cannot reconnect. Winbox detects the router on the local segment, but it cannot connect to it.

Any ideas?

Use winbox this is mach better than quick set

Reset the router without default settings

Try to connect with MAC-address on winbox

Try this, is with other devices but it is the same.

Which settings in Webfig/Quickset did you change, before losing the connection? It's possible that you were connected to the device over the wireless interface, and when you changed it's mode, you were disconnected.
