Bugs Bugs >> Self created SignUp Users are unable to login

Fri Jan 17, 2014 3:41 am

Hi
Please let me know if this is happening only to me. Even if you can't help just letme know.

The scenario includes Hotspot+UserManager ROS6.7:
A user uses the sign-up page, gives email login and pass, then he is redirected to paypal (problem also here but ....)
A record for that user is created in User Manager Database.
The Subscriber applies a valid profile to that user
The user SHOULD be able to login. BUT
the user is unable to login "user <...> not found

If Subscriber add manually a second user, the second user is able to login.
The fields in Database records are identical but the first user is not accepted

Seems that users created by sign up page are problematic
Documentation is also very problematic

And my problem is that I spend almost 2000€ for Mikrotik equipment and hundrends of hours for something that is simply
not working (or better, needs millions of hours to make it work since there is no documentation)

Dear friends of Microtik do not promise goodies (like UM) that you don't have available.
This is not fare for your customers
Andreas K.

I am having the same issue. New accounts created through the signup page are unable to login, and radius reports user not found, however adding a user account in the admin interface of user manager works, and they are able to login with the manually created account.
