Cloud Core v6.7 and RJ45 SFP Modules Not Working

Wed Jan 29, 2014 12:25 pm

Hi Guys,

We currently have a CCR1036-12G-4S running the latest 6.7 tile release firmware. We are having problems
using CISCO-AVAGO RJ45 SFP modules. The router acknowledges the presence of the module and gives all
the information and shows as plugged, but will not pass any traffic. We have tested these modules on
other CCR1036-12G-4S running 6.1 tile release firmware and it works fine, passing traffic. As soon as we
upgrade them to 6.7 it stops working.

We have a CCR1036-12G-4S running the latest 6.7 tile release firmware that has a CISCO-AVAGO RJ45
SFP with vendor part number ABCU-5710RZ-CS4 running fine on 6.7 but the ones we have now are vendor
part number ABCU-5710RZ-CS4B and work fine with 6.1 (out of box) but not 6.7

We have now also tried another vendor of SFP on a test cloud core with 6.7 in our office and this did not work either. This was a Finisar FCLF-8521-3.
We then downgrade the router to 6.6 using the downgrade button in packages and the SFP stared working perfectly.

Has anyone else had this same issue? I have reported it to support@mikrotik.com and am just waiting on a reply.

Warm Regards,
Ben
