I was wondering if I could get some suggestions as to the best Mesh WDS router from Mikrotik, but also cost effective. I am an electrical engineering student and this is for my 4th year project, so there is limited funds.

This is what I am designing. I plan to have a server that is hardwired to a wireless router, and that is then hardwired to the Mikrotik CRS125-24G-1S-IN network switch. From here out, I want to setup a WDS Mesh network with Mikrotik routers that are capable of forming a WDS Mesh network.

So, if anyone can let me know what router will fit the criteria, please let me know.

Also, if anyone can let me know of any problems with this design or has any hints on how to achieve this network better, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was also wondering about these wireless radio cards that keep popping up in the forums for mesh and WDS networks. From the limited information on routerboard.com about them, I gather that they extend the range of the signal? And/or do I need one in my design?
