I'm looking at high resilience carrier-ethernet scenarios for a client. They want fast recovery from outages on links. The only good solution for this is G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection which can heal in 50mS or less. RSTP etc is not even in the same league.
The CRS125 looks very nice for remote radio sites but routeros does not support G.8032.
I'm sure that G.8032 is of interest to a lot of ISP type Mikrotik users where service reliability is a critical criteria. Deployment and maintenance is easy without MPLS complications. A lot of other vendors are starting to support it.
Please consider this in future release of routeros.
