rb951-2n future suggestion ?

Wed Feb 05, 2014 9:14 pm

Have you plan make rb951-2n with internal mmcx connector and USB?

Both works. Better than soldering is to buy a ready-made Mikrotik :)

Tried the USB mod on my 951-2n... Does not work. No power supplied to the connector at all. Bummer!

OK, by feeding the USB port externally with 5V then the port comes alive but on the board there doesn't seem to be a point where to pull 5V from. Would need to build one from the main power line. Seems like the system is more or less running on a 3.3v voltage...
