Question About.. SEXTANT G 5HPnD

Sat Feb 22, 2014 8:29 pm

Hello,

I have two of SEXTANT G 5HPnD - Point 2 Point.. Is it possible to transport support to 26 MB/s real transfer I mean 200MB/s Upload & Download Speed P2P (200MB's Speed [ 1024kb*200mb=204800b/8=25.6MB's ] real transfer) with Level 4 or need to upgrade to up level 5 or 6 to support the speed?

I upgrade before from level 3 to level 4 for two points.

Now I got 120Mb's Speed mean 15Mb/s real transfer download and upload P2P actual from distance 900 Meter with Level 4 (120MB's Upload & Download Speed P2P [1024kb*120mb=122880b/8=15MB's] real transfer)

Because my internet connection to the first point 200MB/s download and 80MB's upload from my ISP [ I Mean get real transfer 26MB/s download and 9MB/s upload ]

Thanks, I hope help me

Jafar

Hello,

Just throughput in bridged mode is not related to the license level. You have to tune your radio to take out the maximum. Trie to set the ap to the 5G only N 20/40Mhz nv2-nstream and the other side station-wds or station bridge also with 5G only N and 20/40Mhz and protocol all. Look athe signal levels and Tx/Rx rates also CCQ during the measure. Change the frequency till you get the best results. Also disable the connection tracking on both sides and do not do the bandwith test from the AP or Station cause the cpu may go 100%.

Kind regards

Hello,

TX/RX levels are shown under radios registration tab. If you are allowed, you can try to set the superchannel mode to test different frequency ~4900-6100 and set the station side also to superchannel and scanlist according to your needs.

Hello,

180/180 are not good TX/RX levels for expected results! Under wireless card HT tab pay attention that both chains are enabled! By default they are not.

Kind Regards

Hello,

Also i had issue, where the signal and CCQ where ok but the tx/rx levels where not - "final" alligment of sextants solves the problem.

And again doublecheck that both! ends are configured correctly HT chains and Channel width 20/40 (not 20)!

I try to change it all frequency's in all country is same low, I get best frequency 5220 that give me 130/130 I am not sure where the problem, I have Channel width 20/40 above.

I have open space no any problem there, I have distance 900 Meter we can see the point from another side not far.

Thx
