i think i may have done something stupid...
i was trying out the dude today, and after launching the software it started mapping my network.
after a while i got warnings from the dude that the services on my router (rb750g) were unavailable.
as i was unable to reach webfig and winbox didn't keep the connectioni decided to reboot the router.

after rebooting i was unable reach the router at all and network traffic through it stopped working. after trying to do a hardware reset, it didn't help, so i tried reinstall the software through netinstall. i followed the guide here http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall, and after the install it said the installation had completed ok, however, the router still doesn't seem to work. after the installation is completed all the port LEDs are off, my computer indicates that the network cable is unplugged, and the only way to get traffic indication over the ports is to do another reset, however, then the network traffic doesn't work.
is there any configuration file i should include in the installation? can i make sure that the ports are enabled directly after the installation so i can set up the router again?

Don't you have a console cable? You can connect router to any windows PC and in hyper terminal, you can see that exact error message where the router is stuck.
