I'm not sure I understand what you exactly want to achieve. Do you want to do ip accounting for each firewall rule? I.e. somehow save the byte counters from the firewall rules for billing or something the like?
Yes. But if you have any better ide for count a traffic for a certain ip or subnet, is ok for me. Not for billing, just for info for me to handle the network.
