I have a following issue. I'd just like to know, if anybody has the same or similar experience.

The RB260GS (swos v 1.12) and the above mentioned cisco (ws 3550-12g) don’t link on gigabit copper. They would link on 100mbit. But on gig not even a single LED flash. Tried combinations of all possible settings (flow control, smartports, etc, etc...)

i have a response from mikrotik support, and even answer for my question about them releasing the SWos as opensource.

Currently gigabit link from RB260 to Cisco 3550 does not work in any conditions.
We are aware of this compatibility problem, it is very specific to Cisco 3550 and
it is planned to be fixed in next the SwOS versions, but SwOS will not become open
source.
