Bond two wireless cards???

Sun Oct 03, 2004 6:46 pm

I have two wifi prism 2.5 based cards from gemtek WL-360
With my local ISP i can connect with only one mac address per account.
I want to open another account, insert another wifi card and join the bandwidth from both cards so that i can get one cumulative channel for downloading/surfing etc.
Can it be done without scripting?

afaik that could not be done at all.

you can do some load-balancing by entering more than one gateway, this has been mentioned in the forum before.

and there will be some channel-bundling features in 2.9 (see beta forum).

regards.

If you want to bond 2 wireless cards, use 2 eoip tunnels in the /interface bonding, it works! 8)

dave, will you post your example of working eoip over two wireless ? We read about it everywhere on forum, but we didn't succeed to do it. And we tried hard, believe me...

Can you bond between 2 routers, using ethernet cards?
