new AP RB912UAG-5HPnD for indoor

Thu Aug 21, 2014 2:48 pm

Hello,

i have buyed for my new AP (homeuse) indoor this RB.
what do you think about the home use ?
i hope 1000mW is not too much gainpower for homeuse and peoples health ?
they dont hit the brain and burn it like a microwave ? :D

i have ordered two omni gains... what do you think about ist ? i need it or can i use it without externel gain ?

maybe i change to 802.11ac miniPCIe interface when its on stock... can i disable the onboard interface ?

you have to configure the router to comply with the regulatory domain requirements.

you can disable interfaces on the router.

you can lower tx power to more decent levels for home use, just check when your devices cannot send back packets to AP but the AP is still visiable.

What did you end up doing in regards to lowering the TX power?
