Hello dear Mikrotik Community.
This is my first post in here.
I'm from Brazil, and work in BRBYTE, known by the participants of MUM as a developer of SpeedR WebCache and ControllR ISP.
We also work as a WISP in state of Mato Grosso do Sul - Brazil - I come here to report a successful case of WIRELESS over about 405 Km.
Use antennas ALG 1.20m. And Basebox 5 with nv2 protocol.
Adjustments for about 40 days. And right now we are starting to duplicate all this link. And adding a licensed radio between Campo Grande (first point) to Aquidauna-MS Pxx. But let's keep mikrotiks operating.
The BRBYTE started this project about 04 years ago. It was very difficult to get the right positions, build towers on top of hills with difficult access, no water, etc. But we finally finished.
We have 3 main links in the path.
Leaving Campo Grande-MS to pointB-MS are 107km.
PointB-MS to PointC -MS 137km
PointC-MS to Corumbá-MS 124km
Corumbá-MS city center, more 25Km.
We using the last firmware ROS 6.17 and wireless-fp within the circuit.
The signal is -50 dBm almost all the time. CCQ 100% in full time. This backbone is in operation for more than 90 days.
The TCP traffic on that link reaches 95mb in one direction.
Where the link is doubled, we are testing version 6.19 ROS.
All routers are the BACKBONE CCR-1009. And at the edges CCR-1016 and CCR-1036.
I hope you enjoy the project. And I am available for everyone to answer any doubts regarding this project.
I apologize for my bad English.
