Hi Normis,

In Europe we have to use DFS at 5GHz I think -

WDS and DFS together are not recommended together I remember reading in your documentation.

What do we do?
We have both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint environments.

Regards

Stephen

We have WDS-slave, that will follow the AP with DFS set. You can't have two APs with DFS set.

I have mine set to station WDS, that seems to follow the AP OK here in the lab.

What reason would I use "WDS-Slave" rather than "station WDS" ?

Many thanks

We have a 5GHz point-to-point bridge and want to add a point-to-multipoint interface to the same AP.

The bridge interface uses dynamic WDS but we will also need to use DFS to comply with the regs.

Where can we set WDS-slave? I see nothing in the manual about it.

This post is very interesting because can fix the regulation issue on 5.4-5.7ghz in Europe.

May we have an "howto" about setting up a wireless bridge using wds and dfs?

Thanks

I agree - a "How To" on meeting regulatory requirements while maximising throughput would seem to be a no-brainer!
