how to create two lan interfaces?

Thu Dec 04, 2014 8:48 am

hello to everyone...

first of all: before i was working in a ISP, and they was working with mikrotik routers to menage their networks, after some time they gave me access to all mikrotik routers and i started working in some small things in mikrotik, for example registering a new user, removing them, queues , ARP's etc...

after that i have been accepted in municipal institution and they have internet connection, but they are using small bridges for 180 computers LOL!

i have bought one mikrotik license, and i installed in a pc .. and it's running well, i was looking to find which mikrotik lan cards and wireless lan cards can be used and are known by mikrotik system..

let me explain me what i want to do : I want to put two lan cards in the pc i installed mikrotik , and enter ADSL connection in the pc (incoming connection ) and i want to use another LAN CARD to output the connection!!

Can someone tell me : what kind of Lan cards should i use that will work with these 200 clients, and how do i create two lan interfaces in mikrotik router system, or WHAT SHOULD i create in mikrotik to make this system working!!!

Your help is appreciated
Thanks a lot!

There is a list of supported Ethernet chipsets:

Usually Intel is best choice.
