Any plans for GBit PoE out ethernet router

Any plans for GBit PoE out ethernet router and when?

We always have ideas, but we don't disclose them until there is something substantial to announce.

CRS-110 8G S 2HnD will have this option i think

see internal pictures of the CRS-109 where the PCB is labeled CRS-110 and there also POE out connector

Having POE out on an 8 port Gigabit switch/router with WiFi and no 10Gbps uplink capability does not make too much sense to me.

I would much rather see they would introduce an 8 or 12 port switch (CRS) with SFP+ to be able to uplink it with 2x10Gbit (Cheap DAC cables stack). That way we could feed our Camera's, Access-Points, small end switches and Phones in homes and small business installations. Now a days with AC capable routers a switch with multiple devices connected to it needs more then a 1Gbps uplink.

That said, to support the most broad range of equipment it would need to support 12v, 24v and 48v POE and passive mode. Not a small thing to get right, but if Routerboard does, it will be a sure seller. Currently we need to use Ubiquiti devices to most of this. :(

So are there any chances for some announcements in the near future? I believe that by now you should have had such products.

We are wanting such a product as well.

CRS with support for 802.3af/at PoE out.
