Why is my stock router sending out CDP Advertisements?
I've never seen an option to enable them? (I just happened to notice this in WireShark/Ethereal)

Probably most people who have noticed this and wanted to change it or turn it off have bothered to read the manual to figure out how:

Manual:IP/Neighbor discovery

MNDP and CDP cannot be enabled and disabled separately, if that is your question/complaint. But you can turn both of them completely off by setting "discover=no" on all interfaces under "/ip neighbor discovery".

Or you can use firewall to enable sending but disable receiving discovery packages. At least I think so.
